I have learned that geography comes from greek words meaning “Earth” and “to describe”. I also learned that geography is the study of Earth and the things on the Earth.
Geography is also split into two categories: human geography and physical geography. Physical geography is the study of climate, seas, landforms, soil, life, and vegetation. Physical geography aims to understand the physical features of the Earth. Physical geography is also refered to as physiogeography. Human geography is the study of humans and their relationship to the enviroment. Humans could decide to either hurt the enviroment or help it. Human geography also studies how humans are adapting to the enviroment and their activities as well. These are all the things I learned about geography, and I hope you learned something about geography from this posting.

What is your Learning Style?
I am a Tactile Learner. Tactile Learners learn by touching things, doing things, etc.
What does that mean?
Tactile Learners learn and remember better by touching, doing, building, or anything else that requires movement. Tactile Learners tend to figure things out not by reading rules, but by taking things apart and fixing it again (Although I read rules).
How can you use your Learning Style strength to succeed in school?
I can rewrite notes from school to help me learn better and prepare me for a test. I can also write down what my teacher writes down so I understand better. I could also write down questions and answer them, which would also help me rather than just looking at the question.
My Test Scores?
- Auditory: 15%
- Visual: 40%
- Tactile: 45%

What is the issue?
The issue is that Tony Blair is going to Lebanon, but the Hezbollah do not welcome him, and he could possibly get killed there.
Who is involved?
Tony Blair, The USA, and Lebanon
Who is affected and how?
Tony Blair- He was going to visit Lebanon and was held jointly responsible for the war.
The USA- Was also held responsible for not forcing Israel to halt its attacks.
Lebanon- Tony Blair was going to visit Lebanon, which did not welcome him.
What would you do if you were directly involved?
I would ask Tony Blair not to visit Lebanon. I would tell him that he would possibly start a war by going there and could be bombed or killed. I would say that Lebanon and Israel would be better off seperate and forgetting about the war.

My Summer Vacation
Click here for link to Homework
For my summer vacation, I was at Phoenix, Arizona. I lived there for three years before coming here. I also went to a school called Milenio.

From Arizona, my family and I went to San Francisco. We rode trams and saw the Golden Gate Bridge. We also went on Lombard Street.
After that, we went back to Penang. We visited some places we didn’t visit before. Some examples are:
Penang Butterfly Farm
Penang Snake Temple
After the trip around Penang, about a few weeks before school, I stayed at Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel. The hotel had its own theme park! I had so much fun there!!!
Another main thing I did on my summer vacation was play my Nintendo Gamecube. I had a lot of fun challenging my friends and sibling in countless games as we laughed at each others mistakes during the game. It was great. Some of my favorites games are:
Super Smash Bros. Melee

Mario Party 7

I had a lot of fun on my Summer Vacation, and I hope you had fun on yours as well!
Rock On!

What is the Article about?
After the war between Israel and Lebanon, cluster bombs are still going off. Cluster bombs are known to explode later in time, and not exactly at the time it was placed. Cluster bombs becomes lots of smaller bombs when exploded. Kids pick up the cluster bombs when they don’t know what they are, causing injuries if not death. Cluster bombs were banned by peace groups and especially not to be used near schools, homes, or wherever else kids might find it. Now the people fear that the cluster bombs will be a problem for years to come.
Who is affected and how?
The kids are affected because many die or get injured from the cluster bombs. Also, the headmasters of the schools and people in their homes are also affected because when the bombs go off, the damage is also done to the schools, homes, or wherever the children find it too.

Q: Find a similar event and write about how they are connected.
Click here for link to Article
I think this article is related to the sample current event because it is also about Kofi Annan, The UN, Lebanon, and Israel.
Who is involved?
The Hezbollah, Lebanon, Israel, the UN, France and Italy
Who is affected and how?
Hezbollah: Started collecting weapons and captured two Israeli soldiers.
Lebanon: Monitored on the Lebanese coast and prepared a letter asking the UN to help patrol it coast.
Israel: Demanded the Hezbollah to stop rearming with weapons. Two of Israel’s soldiers were captured.
United Nations: Requested France to monitor the Lebanese coast.
France: Monitored the Lebanese coast and sent naval ships to the Lebanese coast to stop the Hezbollah from getting weapons.
Italy: Sent naval ships to the Lebanese coast to stop the Hezbollah from getting new weapons also.
What would you do if you were directly involved?
I would gather the Hezbollah and Israel together and explain that this was wrong. I would tell the Hezbollah that if they didn’t gather weapons, they wouldn’t be attacked, and Israel, Lebanon, and the Hezbollah would be at peace.
What did you find interesting about this topic?
I found that the war last 34 days was interesting, because that is about a month, and that’s a long time! I also found that two Israeli soldiers being captured was interesting, because that was what sparked the war alive.
What did you like about the initial blog posting?
I liked it because the part about the ceasefire being ignored and the Hezbollah getting weapons was really shocking. I do hope that the Hezbollah and Israel war will end though.
