I have learnt that Current Events should be about events that are important, that effects the world, articles about celebrities aren’t acceptable for a Current Event. Wars is a good example of an acceptable event, because it effects the world around the war. A good use for Current Events also are because if an article is too long and you just want the main idea, you could just read a Current Event. It will also keep you in touch to the world around you.
